UK Casino Evenings

How we check

Every hour, address and rule on this site comes from one of two places, and every venue page carries the date it was last read.

Two sources, in this order

  1. The venue’s own pages on its operator’s website: opening hours, live-table hours, entry policy, dress code, games, amenities, phone number.
  2. The Gambling Commission public register: the company that holds the casino operating licence, its account number and the licensed premises address. You can search it yourself at gamblingcommission.gov.uk/public-register.

For hotels that share a site with a casino we also read the hotel’s own pages and, where needed, the owner of the complex. When a fact rests on a weaker source, such as a room count taken from booking platforms, the page says so next to the number.

Dates

The first full check of the list ran on 14 September 2026. Venues were re-read between then and 19 September 2026; each venue page shows its own date. Operators change hours without notice, so treat a page as a well-informed starting point and phone ahead when timing is tight.

When sources disagree

  • If two pages of the same venue give different hours, we show the narrower window and flag the conflict on the page.
  • If a venue publishes only the start of live gaming (“from 2 pm”), we draw tables until the doors close and say that this is our reading.
  • If a venue publishes no table hours, no phone number or no entry policy, the page says “not published”. We do not fill gaps with guesses.
  • If the register and the operator disagree about who runs a venue, the register prevails.

What is on the list, and what is not

The list covers 48 floors in 17 cities of England, Scotland and Wales. It is not every casino in Britain. A venue is included when it appears both on its operator’s website and on the register on the day of the check. Venues we could not confirm on both, venues reported closed and venues yet to open are left out until they can be confirmed. Northern Ireland has no licensed casinos.

The Evening score

The score is arithmetic on published facts. The full formula is on the Evening score page. No venue can pay for, request or influence its place, and the score makes no statement about outcomes at the tables.

What this site does not do

  • It does not link to operator websites, because most of them also offer online gambling.
  • It takes no commission, runs no affiliate links and sells no placements.
  • It publishes no prices, promotions or offers, which change too fast to keep honest.
  • It offers no gambling, takes no payments and holds no accounts.

Corrections

If you run or work at a listed venue, or you have simply spotted an error, write to hello@ukcasinoevenings.com. Tell us the page, the fact and where the correct one is published. We fix confirmed errors and update the date on the page.
