Terms of use
Plain terms for a plain information site.
1. Who may use the site
The site is for people aged 18 or over who are in, or planning to visit, Great Britain. It is not directed at anyone in a place where reading about casinos is unlawful, or at Northern Ireland, which has no licensed casinos.
2. What the site is
An information service about land-based casino premises. It offers no gambling, takes no payments and sells nothing. Nothing on it is an invitation or inducement to gamble, and nothing is financial, legal or medical advice.
3. Accuracy
We check facts as described in How we check and date each page. Venues change hours, entry rules, dress codes and facilities without telling us. Confirm anything that matters with the venue before you travel. Admission is always at the venue’s discretion.
4. The Evening score
The score is our arithmetic on published facts about convenience. It is an opinion, not a measurement of quality, safety or value, and it has no bearing on the result of any game.
5. Permitted use
You may read, print and share pages for personal use and quote short extracts with a link back. You may not copy the dataset or substantial parts of the site for republication, scrape it at a rate that burdens the server, or present its content as endorsed by a venue.
6. Photographs
Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under the licences listed on the About page. Those licences, not these terms, govern reuse of the images.
7. Links
Outbound links go to regulators, support organisations, map services and licence texts. We are not responsible for their content. We do not link to gambling operators.
8. Liability
The site is provided free of charge and “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from use of or reliance on it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the current version is dated 19 September 2026. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
